Bamboo,
a member of the grass family, is found mostly in tropical and subtropical areas
of the world. This group of yellow
bamboo was found at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Lawai,
Bamboo
is a highly useful plant and grows very fast – some grow nearly 24 inches in
one day! It is found in building
materials, fishing poles, and musical instruments among many other things.
We even eat the tender, young shoots in oriental dishes!

admired for its grace and beauty and has been capturing the eye of artists thousands of years.
